Mathematics has always been a tough subject for me. I’ve had a hard time asking questions or for help from my teachers. The first time I walked into Mr. Long’s classroom, I knew something was different. Mr. Long made me feel welcome and took the time to get to know me. He made math something I looked forward to, instead of fearing. Whether it was confidence in asking questions or memorizing the unit circle, Mr. Long gave me what I needed to excel not only in pre-calculus, but in overcoming any challenges. Thanks, Mr. Long!
