Brandon Day is my Distinguished Educator because of the enormous impact he’s had on my educational experience and because he took the time to know me. He has the ability to brighten anyone’s day through his easy-going attitude. I remember one experience where Mr. Day taught us about sodium-potassium pumps and the look on my face made it clear I was not grasping it. He took time out of his day to teach me after class, and to me, that is a rare but golden trait in teachers.
