As a sophomore and Yankee fan, I suddenly found myself confronted with a Red Sox fan. I figured if I could talk sports, maybe it would make English class bearable, since it was not my favorite subject. Little did I know that I would not only come to love the class,
but learn more about English, writing and about myself. I was fortunate enough to spend both my sophomore and junior years
in Mr. Belliveau’s English class. Mr. Belliveau took the time to get to know me personally and showed a genuine interest in my life, while talking smack about the Yankees. Every day he challenged me to learn something new. Thank you, Mr. Belliveau!
