Ms. Thiessen was one of the few teachers I’ve had that I feel I can really talk with. It was always wonderful to go to her class, not only because she encouraged me to continue experimenting with art, but she also took the time to talk with students. I enjoyed just how much she involved everyone in class projects. Her humor and acceptance were immensely appreciated during a time when I felt worried about being supported.
