Rod Benson made my freshman year the reason I want to succeed in school and in life. He is incredibly personable, friendly, funny and inspiring. I will never forget the jokes about Chuck Norris on each exam and the geological puns that got me interested in science.
He was also in charge of Outdoors Club, making sure to keep us entertained during the meetings and find us the best activities. Even now he is being a great educator on the Fort Belknap Reservation. He got me excited about class, as well as the outdoors. Mr. Benson had a lot to offer me, and still has a lot to offer everyone else. He made me a better student and person all together.
