Throughout high school, Ms. Pierce has fueled my passion for learning and been a friend in all circumstances. When COVID-19 closed in-person school, she took the time to personally write comments for my assignments, even in that time of depression and avolition. After reading my writing for one assignment, she sent me an email saying she enjoyed my writing immensely and inquiring as to whether I had ever considered writing as a career, which opened the door to that possibility for me in a way that no one had before.
