I chose to honor Renée Driessen because she is such a positive and uplifting woman and an amazing role model. She is always so quick to call and check in on you if you are not at school; she shows genuine interest in how you are doing, and she makes sure to treat us kids like human beings in a classroom. She also loves her dog Atticus as if he were her child, which is exactly how I feel about my dog. Thank you for always showing up for me and so many other kids, Renée! You’re amazing!
