hile it is not too late to still check your withholdings for 2019, if you owed money on your 2018 return and you didn’t adjust your withholdings to withhold more so you won’t owe on your 2019 return than more than likely you are going to owe money on your 2019 return due April 15, 2020.
Here is the link to check to make sure you are withholding enough: Follow the instructions and gather the recommended documents for an accurate withholding amount.

e IRS in unveiling a new form for senior citizens called the 1040-SR to help simplify ling their tax returns starting with the 2019 return. If you use a tax preparer make sure and ask them about this form it will save them time and you some money on preparation fees.
