Our part of the world has relatively few garden pests compared to other regions in the United States. Most of the problems affecting local plants originate from environmental conditions: compacted soil, drought, and wild weather. Focusing on plant health is the best way to reduce the likelihood your plant will be attacked—healthy plants have fewer pests!
