The 25th Annual Craft Show is this Sat., November 4th from 9am-4pm at the Douglas County Events Center. This free event is the largest Craft Show in Douglas County and bene ts the Castle Rock Senior Activity Center fea- turing 150+ vendors, bake sale, free door prizes, and raf es. CR Historical Society Presentation - November 9
Please join us on Thurs., November 9, for a presentation by Teri Johnson on Mary Elitch who was the
founder of Elitch Gardens. For more than a
century Elitch’s was one of the most popu-
lar entertainment destinations in Colorado. It was nationally known for its luscious gardens, the Trocadero Ballroom, the Theatre at the Gardens and the premier wooden roller coaster, Mister Twister. Ms. Johnson is currently the Presi- dent of the Association of Northern Front Range Museums (ANFRM) and is part of the Timberlane Farm Museum of Loveland. Admission is free. Future for Families Gala - November 10
The Crisis Center’s 10th annual Future for Families Gala event is Fri., November 10, at the Hilton Denver Inverness. This year marks the Crisis Center’s 10th annual Future for Families Gala, the event brings together over 300 busi- ness leaders and individuals who are committed to ending domestic violence in our community. Funds raised from this event ensure that the life-saving programs and services offered by the Crisis Center remain FREE of charge for adult and child victims of domestic violence. The event will feature keynote speaker Abigail G. Manning, Colorado
