Veteran’s Day Tribute - November 11
Join the Castle Rock Historical Society on Sat., November 11, for a Veteran’s Day tribute and the closing of the WWI exhibit at the Castle Rock Museum. WWI Re-enactors will join us for the of cial end of our exhibit in honor of the 100th Anniversary of the United States involvement in World War I. The re-enactors will be on hand from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at the Castle Rock Museum 420 Elbert Street. The museum will be open from 11:00am – 4:00pm. Castle Rock Starlighting - November 18
The Castle Rock “Lighting of the Star” is always the Saturday before Thanksgiving. This year’s celebration is November 18th from 2-7pm and will again include hot chocolate, non pro t booths, strolling entertainers, live entertainment and of course Santa will be present for photos and visits.
