Water that is.
Typically half of the water we use throughout the entire year at our home, goes to irrigating our landscapes. For Castle Rock, that means 1.3 billion gallons of water is being poured onto our yards each summer. It is hard to maintain that lush grass from Kentucky in our high altitude, arid environment. To be good stewards of water and help ensure long-term sustainability, conservation is a measure everyone should undertake. The easiest way to conserve water is to reduce that high-water use turf.
