On January 25, 1960, Osborne was issued a tra c ticket by the State Patrol in a yellow 1951 Mercury, 3 miles from where Coors’ truck was found abandoned 15 days later!
Individuals who knew Osborne con rmed that he wore a brown Fedora-style hat like the one that was found at the scene of Coors’ abandoned truck.
It was determined that Corbett, under the name of Osborne, moved out of his apartment on 1435 Pearl on February 10, 1960, saying that he was going back to college in Boulder.
On February 17, 1960, the yellow 1951 Mercury belonging to Osborne was found torched near a dump in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Arrest Warrant for Joseph Corbett for the February 9, 1960 Murder of Adolph Coors III
Within seven weeks of the murder, an arrest warrant was issued for Corbett and he was added to the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted List.
On September 11, 1960, a man target shooting at a crude dump near Shamballa found a key chain with eleven keys and a penknife that was engraved, “AC III.” That discovery caused a search of the dump near Shamballa.
On September 14, 1960, the Douglas County Coroner Doug Andrews (I previously wrote about him as a one- time owner of the Castle Rock Hotel on Perry Street) called the Sheri ’s O ce for Sheri  Hammond’s immediate response. When the Sheri  got to the Coroner’s O ce he was met by two FBI Agents who took them all to the dump site near Shamballa, west of Sedalia. Because it was dark, they all went back the next day with a front-end loader; they eventually found a human skull.
It was taken to the Coroner’s O ce where Dr. Arthur G. Kelly identi ed it through X-rays as being that of Adolph Coors III. Eventually the rest of the skeleton of Mr. Coors was located,
and because of destruction caused
by animals, extent of injuries could not be conclusively determined, but it
