I Enrollment
f you or a family member missed open enrollment this year or are uninsured, you can apply using the tax time enrollment period. How it works: While doing your state taxes, a section of the form (form DR 0104) will allow you to say that you or a family member does not have health insurance and would like to nd out if you can get free or low-cost health coverage. By checking the box on the tax form, you are giving permission to share information with Connect for Health Colorado.
Make sure you le by the tax deadline of April 15th. Shortly after you le your taxes, Connect for Health will send you a letter with information about using your Tax Time Enrollment Period. Many Coloradans qualify for sav- ings. In fact, 3 out of 4 Coloradans who enrolled through Connect for Health Colorado got savings.
