FEATURED ARTIST: Dan Levinson
Meet Dan Levinson. Dan is the mural artist who painted a little bit of magic on the side of the SmarterChaos building in Downtown Castle Rock. Dan was selected from nearly two dozen submissions for the Downtown Alliance’s mural project call for entries. Dan is a digital art teacher at the STEM School Highlands Ranch. His most recent mural features an image of pro football great Earl Harry “Dutch” Clark, in Clark’s hometown of Pueblo, CO.

Veterans Art Therapy is a joint program between the Castle Rock Artist Cooperative (CRAC) and the Douglas County Veterans Monument Foundation (DCVMF) — both Colorado-based 521(c)(3)’s — to assist local veterans who su er from Post-Traumatic Stress. It is a six-month program designed to use the healing qualities of art to help veterans battling PTS.
