Ubergrippen Indoor Climbing Crag:
It was recently announced on social media by private investors that a new “ground-up” indoor climbing facility is coming to Castle Rock! There is an identical facility located in Denver. Once built out, it will be over 16,000 square feet of climbing on a beautiful Vertical Solutions climbing wall. Site location is in the Town Center of the Meadows, within walking distance of many new townhomes and apartments. Developers anticipate the grand opening of this family-friendly facility will be in August 2021. Ubergrippen is not a franchise and was started by a husband-wife team. This company determined that Castle Rock has the perfect demographics to build a facility just like the one located in Denver. This facility will have a complete weight room and o er popular tness classes. They will have a yoga room that opens into their outdoor yard to o er both indoor and outdoor yoga experiences. Ubergrippen will o er day passes for kids ages 3 years and older. They will have a multi-purpose room which will be available for birthday parties and special occasions. Special programs will be available for adult climbers to hone their rock climbing skills. It will have a fully stocked pro retail store on-site to purchase gear for rock climbing and bouldering. They will also o er free trade days with The Spot, a bouldering gym located in both Boulder and Denver, giving members an opportunity to try out other climbing venues.
In-N-Out Burger Castle Rock:
Yes, it’s true, soon you won’t have to drive far for an
In-N-Out Burger! The newest location is being built
on the west side of the Castle Rock Factory Outlets.
Corporate o cials estimate that once construction
begins, the typical time it takes to build and then
open a new In-N-Out store is approximately 5-6
months. Since the site is already underway, then
Castle Rock residents should be driving through their new In-N-Out sometime in August or September! Lone Tree has launched its grand opening In-N-Out Burger store on February 22, 2021. The location is at 9170 Westview Road, just northwest of the Park Meadows Resort Mall. Lone Tree city o cials have been working with In-N-Out to establish an opening day tra c plan that will mitigate impact to local businesses and ensure a safe and manageable tra c ow. At all costs, they want to avoid the nightmare scenario which occurred in Aurora, Colorado during opening day/week which had over 14 hour waits for those in car lines to get to the drive through. Colorado Springs In-N-Out had similar experiences when they had their grand opening. Lone Tree o cials have had a series of public meetings to get input from the public on what they might do di erently to plan a smooth grand opening and minimize the tra c problems. In 2017, the California burger chain announced its plans to enter the Colorado market and build a distribution center in Colorado Springs. In-N-Out has plans to open at least 5 more stores along the Front Range. Locations will include a second store in Colorado Springs, one store in Denver at Central Park Blvd., one store in Fort Collins on South College Ave., a store in Lakewood on 150 S. Wadsworth Blvd., and one store in Thornton at 136th Ave.
