September 10 is the deadline for a life-changing chang- ing leadership opportunity for high school students. YouthRoots is a local nonpro t that teaches teens how to make the world a better place while developing their leadership and life skills.
The year-long program is completely free. As members of YouthRoots, students will:
• Learn and practice skills that will empower them to be a strong leader today and tomorrow
• Use philanthropy to tackle issues they care about
• Collaborate with awesome high schoolers from
di erent schools
• Complete 60 hours of community service

FILL THE BOOT for MDA
September 3, 4, 5 • 9am - 4pm
Castle rock Fire ghters will be out at multiple locations this year collecting money for MDA. The money collected stays local andassistsfamilieswithmultiplemuscular diseases. Money will be collected at King Soopers on Ridge Road, Safeway, Home Depot/Sprouts area, and the Outlets.
