Dave Corliss is originally from Wichita, Kansas. He spent 35 years in Lawrence, Kansas, in college and then working for the City of Lawrence in di erent legal or management capacities, including 9 years as city manager. While in college He met and married Sarah, who is originally from Boulder. He came to Castle Rock in 2015 to serve as Town Manager. There is so much to love about Castle Rock and Douglas County – the open spaces, the parks, and the real sense of community where most all of the people consistently look out for each other.

Tweet knew the castle
and ranch would require upkeep and maintenance, so she quietly included in her will a provision that 1,100 acres of her beloved “Summer Pasture” could
be sold with the proceeds going to her foundation. Soon after her death at age 84, Koelbel and Company bought the cherished land now known as The Keep, a custom-home community. Koelbel set aside 745 acres as open space and limited the remaining land to just 64 sizable estate sites with stringent development guidelines that honor Tweet’s values.
