Trick or treat! Halloween at Carrollton is not just an ordinary day. Students and
teachers dress up to celebrate the holiday. The Primary students parade through the
High School, Junior High, and Intermediate schools showing their costumes that this
year included Spider Woman, Dorothy, fairies, genies, and witches. The Intermediate
School engaged in its yearly pumpkin carving contest and competed to see whose
pumpkin was more imaginatively and artistically created. The Junior High also
dressed up and had a fun- filled Halloween party. The High School students slipped
on their costumes which included Pokemon, angels, babies, Cuban “viejitas” and
even Minnie Mouse. The girls then competed for the best costume. The day ended
with the clubs hosting Halloween activities, such as carving pumpkins and bobbing
for skulls.
