“Wond ’ring Aloud
W ond’ring aloud,
how we feel today
Last night sipped the sunset,
his hand in m y hair
We are our own saviors
as we start both our hearts
beating life into each other.
Wond'ring aloud,
will the years treat us well.
A s I float in the kitchen,
H e’s tasting the smell
o f toast as the butter runs.
Then I come, spilling crumbs on
the bed and he shakes his head.
And i t ’s only the giving
that makes you what you are. ”
‘When the pow er o f love
overcom es the love o f power,
there will be peace. ”
