Lauren Camille Russler '22 signed to sail at Bowdoin College alongside Beatrice Stone '22 who signed to play soccer at Emory University.
JH Athletic Awards Recap;
On May 26, 2022, the 6th grade and Junior High communities gathered to acknowledge the amazingly successful athletic seasons o f the Junior High teams.
The teams were individually called to the stage while their seasons were reviewed and special awards were given for an athlete's unique contribution to their team. The event was capped by the naming o f the Cyclone Award winner by Mr. Althage. The 2022 Cyclone Award winner is Sharella Lee '26 for the talent, hard work and leadership she shows on her teams. The event was a wonderful celebration o f our young and talented athletes.
US Athletic Awards Recap:
On May 25, 2022, the Upper School celebrated the many accomplishments and successes of the Junior Varsity and Varsity athletes. Each team was called to the stage as their seasons were recapped for the audience and their coaches 9ave °ut individual awards to the athletes deserving special recognition. The night ended withaspecialsendofftotheathletesfromtheClassof2022 andthenamingotthe Major Senior Awards. The co-recipients of the Sportsmanship Award were Kailyn Althage '22 and Margarita Miyares '22, the Outstanding Athlete Award was given to Camille Lauren Russler '22 and the Scholar Athlete was awarded to Victoria
Trap '22 A varsity letter was also given to Olen Kalkus, making him an Honorary Letterman, as a thank you for his unwavering support o f Carrollton Athletics. It was a beautiful night celebrating our Cyclones.
