The Freshmen Retreat was held on
Oct. 23,1990 at Pope John Paul II Retreat
House.
At the beginning -of the day, the
Freshmen separated into small groups in
order to get to know each other better.
Later, they had a series of presenta­
tions, one of which included Mr. John
Winters who spoke about his life as a
handicapped person.
At the end of the day the Freshmen
departed with a greater awareness of
each others particular needs and a new
outlook towards life in general.
