In Horse m ythology,
Yggdrasill is the name of
an ash tree which symbol
izes existence, and binds
togeth er earth, heaven
and hell. It's branches
overshadow the world and
it's three roots thrust far
into the underworld. It is a
tree o f life, knowledge,
fate and time whose name
m eans "the bearer o f
Odin" - the inventor o f
poetry, magic and the wis
est and greatest o f all
gods. The gods, under its
spreading branches, met
in solemn assembly and
drank from the sacred
well.
