Whatever it takes...

Ingredients for a successful water polo
team: cold water, countless ripped swim
suits and scratches, stinging eyes, hours of
training, miles of swimming, and one
screaming coach. Fortunately, Carrollton's
varsity team had all of the above. Players
learned to cope with practices alternating
between Carrollton's pool and the Miami
Rowing Club. Sophomore Christy Pujals
had this to say about the sport: "Water
polo is a unique sport that involves a lot of
hard work, but in the end, it's all worth it."
