Q : What was your favorite Carrollton memory?

CM: I was at Carrollton my whole life, so I have a lot o f great memories. However, my
favorite has to be the Alumnae Pin Ceremony during my senior year o f High School. It
was significant because my class chose me as the alumnae class representative, which
                made me feel really special.

Q : How has your Carrollton experience affected your adult life?

C M : Well, I work for non-profit organizations and I think Carrollton is the reason that
I am so involved and love my job so much. Carrollton really instilled in me a sense of
community, volunteerism and philanthropy. As Carrollton girls we really are fortunate
to have the opportunities that we have, and I believe it is important to help those who
are not as fortunate. Carrollton does a really good job in emphasizing the importance of
                accomplishing this through social service.

Q : If had. to describe Carrollton in one word, which word would you choose?

CM : I would have to say family. I am an only child, but I feel li ke I have fifty sisters. The
■bond that is created here at Carrollton is amazing. I know that if I ever needed help or
someone to talk to I could call any o f the girls I graduated with.

Q : Which o f the Five Goals is the most important to you?

CM : Goal 4, community building, has always been the most important in my life. I think
events like Conge, that promote community across all grades from Montessori to High
School, are the most significant. It is because these events, that I have seen older girls
after graduation and recognized who they are and have been able to connect with them.

Q : What was your favorite Sacred Heart tradition?

CM : My favorite Sacred Heart traditions were those that promoted community building
across the schools at Carrollton. I loved bonding with the younger girls o f the Junior
Highland Intermediate while I was in High School. I also loved being a little girl and
participating in activities with the older High School students. It is extremely important
to have these activities because they create such a strong bond throughout the entire
                school.
