this year as part o f Carrollton's 50th anniversary celebrations. Alumnae and guests gathered to honor Hortensia
Sampedro '68, Laurie Weiss Nuell '75, Monica Beltran De Zulueta '83, Patricia Sanchez Abril '93, and Daniela
Calderon ' 10 as recipients o f the Spirit o f Sophie in the World Alumnae Award for their contributions to Carrollton
and the greater community.
