Q : What are your most memorable moments at Carrollton?

ESGM: Between my junior and senior year of High School, the Sacred Heart Schools
held a leadership training conference in Chicago and four students from the junior and
senior classes were selected to attend. I was chosen and got to travel with Sr. Cooke,
then Dean of Students, to the conference. It was such a great experience. Another
one of my favorite Carrollton moments was when I asked Sr. Cooke if we could create
a Carrollton softball team. Sr. Cooke said yes, and I was so excited to be able to bring
                  another sport to Carrollton.

Q : Which of the Five; Goals has made the most significant impact on your life?

ESG M :S||e Goal that I have always loved and lived by is Goal III, community service.
This Goal has touched me deeply and I have always made an effort to remain involved in
helping our community. Whether I am doing work for the homeless or clubs, like Ipads for
Soldiers, I always make sure I am helping in some way.

Q : How was Mass celebrated when you were at Carrollton?

ESGM: Mass was very similar to the way it is now. We would walk over to St. Hugh
with all the students dressed in Mass uniform to celebrate holy days throughout the year.
Carrollton Mass has always been such a beautiful thing because it emphasizes community
building throughout all the grades and faculty.

Q : How has your experience as a Carrollton student affected your adult life?

ESGM: "fnere is a certain bond that we share as graduates and students of Carrollton
with the graduates and students of other Sacred Heart schools. There is a feeling of unity
that can fye seen in the traditions and Sacred Heart Goals. As women who have been
educated at Sacred Heart schools across the globe, we share similar values and beliefs. I
wore my ring for a very long time throughout my adult life because of the sense of love
and comfort it provides. I feel comfortable with my ring on knowing that there are people
all over the world who recognize it and identify with the same feelings I have.
