recognizes 7th graders for their stellar SAT
scores.

Awards
Students who participated in the
Duke Talent Identification
Program qualified for further
recognition based on their SAT
and ACT scores.
Carrollton Junior High students earned 8 awards, and
sixth, seventh and eighth graders earned 2nd Place
overall at the Belen Spanish Oral Invitational.
Six Junior High students received awards for
projects entered in the Miami Dade Science
and Engineering Fair.
Twenty eighth grade students were chosen by their
teachers to participate at the Christopher Columbus
Academic Olympics. Carrollton students earned 3
first, 3 second and 5 third place medals.
