Lifers
We often call ourselves "lifers" as though condemned to a prison for life, but, deep down, we all know that Carrollton was nothing like a
prison. Despite the strict rules about knee highs and nail polish and dangly earrings, there was so much more to Carrollton. We all cherished
our time here deeply - and always will. Carrollton was the home where we learned, laughed, wept, matured, and, most importantly, loved.,]
It was here that we came to understand the true meaning of that word and it was in one another that we found it.
Leaving in June will be one of the most difficult things we'll ever have to do, but at least we have the memories. So, when we look back
upon our days in skorts and jumpers, in pigtails and in braids, we'll always be able to look upon the same smiling faces - the ones we know
that we can always come back to when the real world gets a little too tough.
Never forget the lessons you learned here, or the people who taught them to you - they're some of the most important you'll ever know.
To the Lifer members of the class of 2005 - may you always be the Captains of your Souls and the Masters of your Fate. The world is yours, ,1
and may all the love and happiness in it belong to you.
