Once You pop

You Just Can’t -stop!

September 74, 2004

I walked into the PAC to the sound of
Shakira's "Whenever, Wherever." boom­
ing in my ears. I looked on stage to see
Shakira (Monica Alarcon) giving an ex­
clusive concert with her back-up singers,
Posh (Dianna Ferguson) and Gerry Spice
(Christina Miller). The entire PAC erupted
into cheers and laughter as they danced
around. This was a day to remember.
And it was even better when I greeted
my little sister. All week we sat down
and enjoyed lunch together while being
entertained by many different "pop cul­
ture" themed activities. People think this
is a time to make fun of the freshman,
but its really a week filled with fun and
getting to know your sister.
