Saturday saw the return of alumnae to Carrollton to a reception in their honor in the school's neW’ffounderslibrary.
The gift of the Miguel Fernandez Family, the Founders Library serves as a beautiful setting for friends to see each other
and catch up. Reunion Classes were honored and reconnected via a live web cast with classmates from around the
world. Undoubtedly one of the highlights was an extraordinary hot air balloon ride, a gift from an anonymous member
of the Class of 1968, from w hich guests could enjoy the beauty of an ideal evening in Coconut Grove from a different
   perspective.

The Anniversary Weekend concluded on Sunday with a Family Mass of Thanksgiving by the Bay, celebrated by Rev.
Robert Valle and <1 series of student performances and all-school art show. "W hat better way to celebrate 46 years of f
educating girls and women than by focusing on the aits. The contemplation of beauty is a source of tfue delight uplifting
the soul and uniting it with others in shared admiration and finally drawing it near to God. Carrollton has been blessed
and we were so happy that so many students, families, alumnae, faculty, neighbors and friends could join us."

As we remember the spirit of the anniversary celebration, let us remember the poem inscribed in the face of El Jardin's
pool wall... "The kiss of the sun for pardon, the song of thg birds for mirth, one is nearer Cod's heart in a garden, than <
anywhere else on earth." May we continue to pray for one another knowing that the more we find of beauty, the more
we can find of truth, the more we can find of goodness, the closer we are to our God.
