The Fifth Grade Class celebrated Women's W eek this past March by researching women who have made a significant
contribution to advances in literature, arts, sciences, health, and other important areas. The project integrated many of the subject
areas including technology, language arts, social studies, and art. The students presented their oral presentation to fellow fifth
and sixth graders and faculty. They abo dressed up in character during their oral presentations. It was definitely a worthwhile
experience for the students to learn about these notable women in hbtory.
