Carpi Recicar has worked as the academic and college counselor for the Carrollton
community for twenty-five years. Ms, Recicar has been a great help to many of her students and
through her caring and kind personality, has touched the lives of many of her students and co­
workers.

“Ms. Recicar’s dedication to getting the seniors into the college of their choice is unfaltering. From
deciding what school to apply to, to polishing resumes and editing essays, Ms. Recicar’s guidance
during the college application process has placed many seniors in some of the best schools in the
country. I know she feels deeply rewarded every time a senior is in her office jumping up and down

“It seems fitting that after 25 years of service
to Carrollton, Carol Recicar receives the
dedication to the yearbook. There are many
seniors who would gladly dedicate it to her
every year for her unwavering energy and
support in helping them find just the right
college and university. Faculty, students, and
parents all know that she is the expert on
getting students into college and university and
all rely on her expertise. Her advice is sound
and her judgment is wise. She is not selfish with
her expertise and has.helped any and all who
seek her help including those less fortunate
in the wider community. Carol Recicar
embodies the finest qualities of a counselor:
she is nonjudgmental, fair to all, positive and
supportive. She provides a steady comfort and
a firm base for all who know her. The Sacred
Fleart Goals are truly demonstrated through
her daily example. The Carrollton Community
