VARSITY GOLF
The Carrollton golf team won Districts
and placed second in Regionals,
qualifying to participate in FHSAA Finals
for the first time in its history. They
placed first at both the Crutchfield/
Hawkins and Dade County Youth Fair
tournaments. Team captain Alexandra
Perez placed first and Julie Steinbauer
second in the Youth Fair tournament.
This season the team hosted the first
ever Carrollton Invitational in which
5 top teams from around the state
participated. The team as a whole
finished with a 9th place finish in the
State Finals out of a large field of schools
from Florida.
