Cross Country
The Junior High Cross Country Team competed at the South Florida M iddle School Conference
Championships and finished in second place. The Varsity Cross Country team finished 4th
place at the FHSAA Class 2A Region 4 Championships. At the FHSAA 2A State Finals, the team
came in 13th place in their division, and 26th overall. Individual honors went to ninth grader
Maria Balceizar who placed 3rd overall and sixth grader Maria Madiedo who came in 7th place.
This is the best performance at the State Finals that Carrollton has had since 1988.
