This year, the Sixth Grade took a field trip to Kennedy Space Center. Students
went in simulators, saw an IMAX movie and slept under the massive Saturn
V rocket. Also, they met astronaut, Dr. John Bartoe who talked with us about
his experience in space and the miraculous things he saw. In addition to
all the space program related activities, students also had the opportunity
to appreciate the beauty of the marsh lands and native wildlife through the
Kennedy Space Center Sunrise Tour. -Samantha Melchor-Panzer '16
