High School Clubs
With a myriad of clubs ranging from honors and academics to volun
teer and leisure, there seems to be a club to suit every student’s
interests. They not only encourage students to participate in the
various school activities but also provide the means for students to
further develop their interests and skills alongside other students who
also share these same interests. What’s more, these clubs enhance
leadership skills and offer students the unique opportunity to commit
to a cause.
This year the Club Coordinator, Lizzi Nuell, did an outstanding job
planning special activities in order to make the student body aware
and getting it involved. The first of these activities was the annual
Club Fair, where each club set up a booth and gave out pamphlets
explaining the function of their club. Congress also hosted the annual
Leadership Seminar, teaching club officers how to plan events and
maintain membership involvement. Plus for the first time this year,
each of the clubs along with Congress put on the first ever Carrollton
Club Carnival. The Intermediate was invited to the Club Carnival, and
each club had a booth with many fun games and activities.
