Our learning or thinking needs depend on:

▪ How quickly we can make sense of information

▪ How much information we can hold in our mind at one time

▪ How easily we can keep our thoughts on one topic and not let other thoughts in

▪ How easy it is for us to shift our attention from one topic to another

▪ How easily we can regulate our energy levels and feelings

▪ How easily we can hold on to the desire to do or say something

All of these actions need good Executive Function Skills.
