How strong are your brain habits?
I explained how the things we say and do can Do you hide and freeze? Do you avoid? Do you run?
become strong brain habits.
Let’s say, whenever we don’t feel liked and respected Do you avoid? Do you run?

by a teacher, we avoid talking about it. We don’t tell scared! I’m fine

the person how things are for us.
Instead of dealing with the prickle and telling the

with words or actions or we run from the unpleasant
feeling.
If we keep doing this, the brain pathways for
avoiding the things become stronger.
It becomes a strong brain habit. Just like the more
threads holding a button on to a coat, the stronger the
button stays on. Good and bad habits can become strong.
The good news is that we can change those habits. It just
takes lots of practice! We will look at that more next time.
