2. Working Memory
▪ Sensory information is then sent and kept in our working
memory for a short time (up to 30 seconds).
▪ Our Working Memory holds information for us to use in the
moment, e.g. the numbers to do a calculation in your head.
▪ It’s a bit like post-its in our head – holding the information
for us to use, there and then.
