Danger Brain
Our brains are wired to respond in these ways to protect us from
danger.
When we are faced with a threat, our brain turns
down 'energy greedy' parts of our brain and body to
save energy for fight/ flight and turns up our
breathing, heart rate and senses so we can get away
quickly. We call this 'Danger Brain'.
But sometimes, our threat response is
activated when there is no real danger,
and we react in ways that are not
relative to the situation.
