Parachutes of Support

This model gives a structure for exploring how loved and supported a person
feels. If this need isn’t met well, they can then be supported to strengthen their
Parachutes of Support.

A young person needs a network of strong, positive, adult attachments.
These people need to give unconditional care and support, model skills and act as a
temporary pre-frontal cortex
