Enriching Experiences
Having varied and enriching experiences is also key to developing strong early
connections.
When children enjoy a wide range of positive
experiences with different adults and peers, they
build stronger neural pathways in many areas of the
brain.
This includes areas involved in the development of
those crucial Executive Function skills.
The more enriching and positive experiences a child
enjoys, the easier she or he will find it to
remember, process information, focus attention, be
flexible, manage impulses and take control of big
feelings.
