          When people use I, it helps me to see things


                                from their point of view.


          It helps me to develop the skill of empathy.














                                                                           When people use ‘you’, I


                                                                                        feel attacked.

                                                                               Stress chemicals are


                                                                        released in my body; I may

                                                                                 then get defensive.
