         Brain Control Questions






      1. The 3 main categories of needs are:

       1.     Which is the last part of the brain to develop?
         ➢ Physical (basic physical & sensory),


         ➢ Emotional (People Around Me & World Around Me)
       2.     What are Executive Function Skills?
         ➢ Learning needs (the fancy term being Executive Function Skills) and

              the six related skills (Control Centre Skills 2).
       3.     Why are they so important? What could you compare them to?

      2. The 6 Physical needs: water, food, sleep, pain free, right


              Can you name the six Executive Function Skills we focus upon
       4.  temperature, physical exercise (feeling fit).
              (the ones most commonly described by psychologists)?

      3. The 6 Sensory needs: light, sound, proprioception, smell, tactile,

           level of interest.
       5.     What would you see and hear when someone had really good

              skills in each of the Executive Function Skills?
      4. The 6 People Around Me needs: cared for and supported by adults;

           liked by peers; sense of belonging; feeling I count and am an important
