Shift from seeing something as a ‘difficulty’ to whether
a strength is ‘helpful or ‘unhelpful’ at that moment
❑ Rigid ‘Determined Donkey’ thinking is unhelpful when it comes to compromise,
teamwork, shifting tasks and adapting to change.
❑ However, it is really helpful when sticking up for what is fair or following through
with something you are really interested in achieving.
❑ It is also an advantage when sticking to a cause or principle. Think Rosa Parks or
Greta Thunberg and their rigidity in standing up for urgent causes. 11
