When our own needs are met well:
It’s all about the brain …
When our needs are met well, special chemicals are released into
our bloodstream. We feel great! We call these ‘Feel Good Chemicals’.
So, the good feeling we get when our needs are met well is actually
something physically happening in our brain and body!
It gives us the energy and resilience to better manage the stressors of caring
for vulnerable children.
