Learning to recognise the body’s
natural response to threat
▪ The problem is, our brain can find it hard to work out REAL threat.
▪ The brain can trick us into thinking there is REAL danger when in fact,
we are perfectly safe.
▪ We can practise thinking through real dangers and ones which may
make cortisol rise in our body but are not REAL danger.
