Mobilisation
The body begins to mobilise as the sense of danger increases:
Find:
Looks to the attachment figure/s for comfort or protection
▪ Clingy with attachment figure / protests against separation
Flock
Looks to the group for comfort or protection
▪ Takes part in anti-social behaviours that s/he wouldn’t do when on own.
Fawn:
Tries to appease to avoid conflict & decrease chance of harm/rejection
▪ People-pleaser, represses own wishes and needs to please others
▪ Constantly seeking validation from others
▪ Reasons, complies, placates, begs, tries to keep the peace
▪ Caretaking, co-dependency.
