GOAL A CHANGE THE NEUROBIOLOGY BY HELPING CHILDREN TO:

Step 3 Help children to learn ways to manage unmet needs so they can stay in control and bounce back quickly:
3b To get skilled at noticing and describing their ‘affect’ (energy and pleasant and unpleasant feelings).
3c To know their stress response (prickle habit) patterns and recognize them before they get too big.
3d To get great at working out which 5C Needs are behind their pleasant and unpleasant feelings.
To practise strategies for tolerating the unpleasant feeling of an unmet need for long enough to take control. Tolerance
